The unit is very quiet, image & sound quality are excellent. Have to install & use those apps on the projector itself. Screen mirroring of content from phone is mostly prohibited for all major streaming apps(netflix, prime, etc.,). Outdoor wifi enabled streaming from natively installed apps are great. Throw & key correction features are nice & need very little tweaks get a good & steady image on the screen. It has very limited feature set & haven't found it useful thus far - end up using remote controller always which isn't easy to navigate either.Īs far the image quality on to a 100" screen is amazing in the dark. The ios nebula connect app is somewhat sketchy & freezes up on a iPhone 12 pro. The remote & the ios nebula connect app needs a serious review though. The interface is pretty nice and intuitive. Was quick to setup and download & install the needed apps a breeze using existing google/gmail account. I'm trying to reach Anker's support team. Not sure if this an app glitch or what but the home screen doesn't load. Ocassionally - the project is black after startup. I do not notice it once we turn something on. On par with a budget soundbar.who really "needs" more? Nebula is pretty quiet with the fan. The sound system is more than adequate for your typical user. It takes a device that looks over $1,000 easily and cheapens it. I'll avoid people from seeing this as much as possible. It gets corrected once the device fully loads but it looks terrible. The NEBULA loading screen is upside down as is the Android loading screen. Nebula Connect app is solid.īiggest gripe - lack of mounting instructions and the projector doesn't recognize it's upside down when ceiling mount. (IE - If you mounted it and your throw ratio is wrong you'll have light bleed).Īndroid 9.0 is good - Nebula connect is a little goofy but most people by now have a streaming device you can use if you don't like the UI. Keystone is good but know that your backlit area doesn't change. Good out-of-the-box autofocus with manual adjustment if needed (I've never had to use it). Happy with the purchase.Ĭolors out the box lean on the cooler side but all are correctable. I got it on Black Friday and got a pretty good deal. We've watched 4k programs on Amazon Prime rendered in 1080p natively. Maybe in 3-5 years if those providers get their act together. No real need for a 4k projector at this point. We stream everything and all streaming services deliver content in 720 or 1080 in limited cases (Youtube TV, Sling, Hulu, Fubo, etc.) The same holds true with DirectTV, Spectrum, XFINITY, Cox, you name it cable providers.
